Raum/Zeit

While the intrinsic beauty of the two dimensional Mandelbrot set was known since the early 1980s, it was only at the end of the 2000s when the search for a true three dimensional representation with resembling qualities was intensified. Raum/Zeit is a showcase for some of these candidates, especially the Mandelbulb and the Mandelbox, showing the diverse fractal patterns found in these purely mathematical formulas. Presented for the first time for the demoscene at the Revision 2011 demoparty.
